Message to Planning Professionals

Intermediary :  My role as a farm transition planner is to function as an intermediary,  as a bridge between an Ag client, their family members and their professional advisors.  The role is intended to co-ordinate, interpret and support advisory streams an Ag client typically receives from their accounting, insurance, legal and investment advisors.  When appropriate, I offer additional or alternative recommendations that the client is encouraged to review with their existing advisors. We do not implement any accounting, legal, or business re-structuring recommendations, or sell investment or insurance products as offered or recommended by their professional advisors.  

Fiduciary Capacity :  As fiduciaries, we avoid conflicts of interest by not accepting compensation for our services from any source other than our clients.  We do not accept commissions or fees as a result of any business activity (I.E. insurance or investment sales, accounting or legal services) that may be generated by recommendations that are implemented. 

Improving Relationships and Bringing Value:  Our role is not to disturb professional relationships but to enhance them. We believe that co-coordinating advisory streams and promoting teamwork among professionals of various disciplines delivers results sooner, with more clarity and with less stress to our mutual clients.
