Farm exit, succession and retirement planning can be one of the most challenging and complex experiences you may ever encounter in your farming lifetime. We bring a completely different approach to getting this done.
My Farmplan.ca offers a unique, objective and bias-free process to farmers looking towards exit and succession planning. We bring decades of technical planning experience and farm backgrounds to help you develop a transition strategy from your perspective, that saves time and taxes and preserves family harmony.
Providing the next generation with the best opportunity to succeed with a plan sustainable by your farm can be incredibly complicated and time consuming. Balancing family dynamics and ensuring non-farming children are treated fairly and support your transition plan can add even more stress to the process. We can help!

No successor? What are your next steps? Selling out & relocating? Or slowing down, renting out land or maybe investing, or perhaps both? What about travel and building a shop for retirement projects? What about saving taxes and estate planning? What about checking your options before pulling the pin?
Estate planning is more than a Will dividing up a pie, power of attorney or a health care directive. Getting it right, being fair to all family members preserves farming legacies and family harmony. Proper planning gets the balance right between providing for today and planning for tomorrow, and can even save taxes!
